My Background and Approach
I specialize in life adjustments whether it be divorce, children of divorce, blended families, starting college or a new school, moving, childhood/adolescence/teens years, pregnancy, post-pregnancy, and many more. You don’t have to do this alone and you deserve to have support through these ongoing changes. Life is full of so many twists and turns and it is difficult to understand what to do. There is no manual to tell you how to learn to be yourself, how to be the best parent or partner, or how to navigate life. And let’s admit it… life is COMPLICATED. I'm here to help support you through these moments.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a systemic therapist which means that I look through a lens of not just how we think but how society and our family system has impacted us. We are all relational beings so we are impacted by each relationship we have been in and the generations that have come before us. I also believe that you are the expert of your life and together we can bring our expertise together to create change. I love talking about culture, religion, social justice, and family systems and their impact on who we are today and who we want to be. I also am a huge animal lover! My cat, Nala, will sometimes pop into our telehealth sessions to say hello. I can't wait to learn more about you and to be a part of your journey!
