I have extensive experience working with people who identify as LGBTQ and their allies. During my career I have worked with many clients who are seeking support around some facet of their sexual orientation, as well as clients who are not looking for support with their sexuality specifically, but who want a therapist that "gets them."

Concerns about sexual functioning take a nuanced and specialized approach. I have specific training in treating concerns about sexual functioning including erectile dysfunction, sex addiction, low desire, and differing libidos. I bring sensitivity, compassion, and practical solutions that produce lasting results.

Using a psychodynamic approach helps clients make connections between past experiences, family history, and present behavior. Sometimes understanding our inner-workings can help us understand our deepest needs.

Motivational interviewing is a powerful tool to help you make decisions, identify goals, and make lasting changes in your life. This technique empowers you to understand and then take steps towards what you want.
