About My Clients
I am passionate about working with adults and older adults and leading my practice through my ethics as a clinical social worker, my personal values, and the idea of growth. I am queer, neurodivergent, kink, ENM, and sex-positive allied. I believe strongly in the power of connection, empathy, and encouragement to help people make meaningful changes in their lives, centering these values in each relationship with my clients whether through individual or family struggles.
My Background and Approach
I offer individual support for adults in a warm, supportive environment where clients can explore challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and more to make impactful change in your life. Drawing from theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and Motivational Interviewing, I tailor each session and treatment plan to meet the unique needs of the individual. I also offer family support for adults to help improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges within the family system. I value a safe, respectful space where each member feels heard and supported. Utilizing a Structural Family Therapy approach, I work to compassionately identify and prompt to rework unhelpful patterns. I have prior experience working in multiple settings, including community mental health, hospice care, inpatient Psychiatry, and integrated behavioral health - so I've had the opportunity to serve others in many stages.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe firmly in the capacity for all people to make meaningful change in their lives, health unhelpful patterns, and repair relationships. I recognize that understanding and care enables the best parts of people to come out and I hope to nourish that with each client I have the pleasure of working with. Through my experience, I've seen just how impactful life hardships are on our mental health and firmly believe we aren't broken. We're just struggling. I'd love to help you find your way.
