About My Clients
I truly believe that each and every person has immense value and strength, and I see it as an honor to come alongside you in your path toward mental and emotional wellness. Specific areas of concern that I treat include: general life stressors, grief/loss, anxiety, panic, depression, emotional dysregulation, school performance, trauma, and self-harm. My clients may have been managing mental health struggles for some time, or might be brand new to the idea of therapy. All are welcome!
My Background and Approach
At the core of my counseling approach is a belief that our life experiences and background shape who we are, and therefore I vary my therapeutic technique based on individual need. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and experience-based education and activities.
