Hey, I'm Meg. I help high-achieving over-functioners overcome stress, burnout, and self-doubt in their professional & personal lives.
When we work together, we’ll create a space where you can get all those “ugly” feelings out without being judged, invalidated, or told to “just think positively.”
I’ll take the time to get to know you for who you are, not for the Insta-worthy image everyone thinks you are.
I’ll ask the sticky questions that help uncover some of the gnarly shit that’s keeping you all wound up in your own mind.
Together, we’ll do that deep, rewarding, and sometimes challenging-as-hell work to get clear about who you are & what you want out of this life.
And together, we’ll untangle & release the webs of stress, self-doubt, and overwhelm you secretly carry with you every. single. day.
Because, damn. It’s about time you get some relief. Don’t you think?
I operate from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, inclusive lens and believe wholly that you are the expert in your own experiences, beliefs, and needs. I reject the idea that because I hold a degree, I am somehow more qualified in understanding your life than you are, or that I know what is "best" for you. When we work together, I will follow your lead, provide suggestions where I see fit, and trust that you'll take what you need and leave the rest.
A bit about my background: I am a white, cis, hetero female. I identify as left and agnostic. I currently live in rural Indiana. Some of my life experiences include being a child of divorce, romantic relationship abuse & infidelity, marriage & divorce at a young age, achieving sobriety without 12-step meetings or rehab, major life transitions, and polyamory/open relationships.
I specialize in issues related to burnout & compassion fatigue for professional helpers & other therapists.
