Therapy should feel like a conversation with a good friend, not a medical appointment. Consider me a partner and advocate, not a provider.

About My Clients

Therapy isn’t a one-size fits all approach. You’re the expert in your own life, and you deserve therapy that fits your needs, even if it combines multiple therapeutic approaches. In our therapy, we laugh, cuss, and tell it like it is. For me, there's no topic off limits or "too taboo." I am a partner in our clinical work, first, before a practitioner!

My Background and Approach

I am licensed in Tennessee, Florida, Washington, and other states soon to come. My experience began in the addictions and co-occurring disorders space. I am a doctor of Psychotherapy (PhD) in Advanced Clinical Practice and have research interests in addiction, trauma, and institutional abuse. My version of therapy is holistic, and sees your “whole person” self rather than just your “symptoms.” Life is unpredictable, and it can leave you tangled in the weeds. Sometimes you need someone to walk alongside you and untangle the mess. That’s where I come in. Our first session invites introductions, and gets you feeling comfy! Let’s be Brave Together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Therapy isn't a one-size fits all approach. You're the expert in your own life, and you deserve therapy that fits your needs, even if it combines multiple therapeutic approaches. My version of therapy is holistic, and sees your "whole person" self rather than just your "symptoms."
