Sex Therapist in Denver, CO

About My Clients

I work deeply with individuals and couples struggling with communication, intimacy, and trauma. I best serve adults healing from childhood sexual abuse and their partners. If you are navigating sexual, relational, religious, or medical trauma, or exploring your gender and sexuality, you belong here. I welcome sexual and relational minorities, sex workers, and anyone ready to build the intimate, authentic life they desire.

My Background and Approach

My approach is energetic and personable, rooted in my background in the arts and education. As an LCSW with a specialized trauma certification and 300+ hours of sexual assault crisis counseling training (including hotline and hospital advocacy), I bring deep, grounded expertise to your healing. For the past 14 years, I’ve been active in queer, anti-fatphobia and anti-racism advocacy and sexual violence prevention work. I meet my clients where they are and build a collaboration around how we engage in our therapeutic work together. What this means for you is a therapist who isn't afraid of sensitive topics, infusing sessions with warmth and clear communication. As a "sex nerd" and former long-time sex educator, I help you understand your experiences without shame. I believe intimacy is so much more than sex. Together, we’ll navigate your path toward healing, ensuring you feel seen, understood, and empowered to build the intimate life you desire.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am deeply committed to challenging transphobia, homophobia, racism, and fatphobia both inside and outside the therapy room. I am a white queer middle-class therapist, and I explicitly welcome and aim to provide a safe, collaborative space to process any concerns or dynamics around race, ethnicity, and immigration experience. Culturally responsive care is central to my practice. I firmly believe there is no “wrong way” to have a body, love, or express your gender, and that fundamentally, everyone is just trying to feel seen and understood. Outside of my clinical work, I stay grounded and bring positive energy to our sessions by taking dance fitness classes, hiking with my dog, and watching movies with my cat. Who we are matters, and I bring my whole, authentic self to our work so that you can safely do the same.
