About My Clients
As humans, we often take life experiences at face value and will store them away into the unconscious, and its only later that they begin to appear as symptoms. Anxiety, depression, and child issues are just a few of the symptoms of larger issues that we may not be able to easily identify.
My Background and Approach
When working with clients, I like to explore a client's past and current experiences to understand how they might influence a client’s thoughts and behaviors. I provide a safe space for clients to work through the problems they have faced in the past and the struggles they experience now, to provide hope for a better and more positive future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is not effective without a strong relationship between the client and the therapist, which is why I work hard to create a solid foundation through curiosity, compassion, and humor. I listen carefully to each client and their needs, and while I work with a psychodynamic framework, I also make sure my treatment toward each client is individualized based on their unique symptoms and life experiences.
