About My Clients
Do you look like you’re doing fine, but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly “on” inside? Many of my clients are high-achieving teens, young adults, and adults tired of overthinking, burnout, or pressure to keep it all together. Some are navigating perfectionism, ADHD, or emotional overwhelm that makes life feel heavier than it should. In our work together, we slow things down, make sense of your patterns, and build practical tools that actually fit you.
My Background and Approach
I am an LICSW with a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education from Boston University. My clinical experience spans hospital emergency rooms, therapeutic schools, and community mental health settings, which has given me a deep appreciation for how anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional distress can show up in so many different ways, and in so many different moments of life. I work with teens, young adults, and adults who feel like they’re carrying a lot, even if it doesn’t always look that way on the outside. Many of the people I see describe feeling anxious, stretched thin, caught in cycles of perfectionism, burnout, or self-pressure, and quietly exhausted from trying to keep up or hold everything together. I strive to provide neurodiversity affirming care, honoring the many different ways people experience attention, emotion, and the world around them. I try to create a space where those differences are not only understood, but genuinely celebrated.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, be yourself, and begin to gently make sense of your inner world. So often, people come to therapy carrying expectations, pressure, self-criticism, and the sense that they should already “have it figured out.” I see therapy as a place where those burdens can be set down for a while, so there is room to breathe, reflect, and explore what’s really going on underneath the surface. To me, therapy is a guided process of self-exploration. It’s not about being told who you should be, but about getting curious together about who you already are: your patterns, your strengths, your protective strategies, and the parts of you that may feel overwhelmed or stuck.
