About My Clients

My clients are adults ready to understand what's actually driving their patterns, not just manage them. Many have ADHD, recently diagnosed or finally after years of it making sense in hindsight. Others are recovering from narcissistic relationships, navigating divorce, building a healthier relationship with substances, or working through something that happened and never fully resolved. They're curious, self-aware, and ready to do real work.

My Background and Approach

My approach is direct and experiential. I'm interested in what's actually happening in the room: what comes up when you slow down, what your patterns look like up close, what's underneath the symptom you came in with. I work with individuals and couples using psychodynamic therapy, AEDP, IFS, EFT, Gottman Method, and harm reduction. It's important that we find what approach works best for you. I have ADHD myself, which shapes how I work with clients who do too. Practical tools, real flexibility, and genuine understanding of how your brain is wired. I'm a licensed clinical social worker practicing in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Illinois.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Good therapy should be available to everyone. I offer sliding scale slots because cost shouldn't be the reason someone doesn't get care. If that's a concern, reach out. I work with clients across every background, identity, and relationship structure. LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, trans and nonbinary clients, people in ethically non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships, immigrants, undocumented individuals, and mixed-status families all have a place here. I also provide pro bono services for victims of crime and military members and their families through Give an Hour. Being affirming is a baseline, not a specialty. You can bring your whole self into the room from the start. Your identity, relationship structure, and background are part of who you are. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at GW School of Medicine, I teach medical students psychosocial interviewing, communication, and a whole-person understanding to shape how the next generation of doctors connects to patients.
