About My Clients
Do you feel guarded or anxious, overanalyzing situations and other people until it's hard to just be yourself? Maybe you feel like you're on the outside looking in. Perhaps intellectualizing makes it difficult to feel emotionally connected, or you believe you need to be perfect to deserve love. Childhood difficulties and trauma can effect your present due to the way you learned to show up. We can untangle these old learnings, making space to practice new ways of relating to yourself and others.
My Background and Approach
I'm a direct, engaging, emotionally attuned, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. Through establishing a genuine connection, we'll explore patterns to understand what happened, what was missing, and how it shaped who you are. You'll feel seen and heard as we gently untangle those patterns, making room for healing so you can feel like you. I am trained in EMDR and have various trainings in IFS, DBT, polyvagal, somatic, psychodynamic and existential therapies. I tend to take a holistic approach recognizing the body, mind and spirit but always work collaboratively to determine what works for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to reconnect with their light and the truth of who they are. I believe everyone has inherent value and deserves to live connected to that and be in the flow. I named my practice My Flow Therapy to describe that place of feeling connected to self, others and the world , where no one can f*#k with you.
