About My Clients
Most of the clients I see are dealing with a lot of responsibility and pressure. They often have many responsibilities from a stressful job to caretaking and family duties. The stress and anxiety is sometimes overwhelming, but they often struggle to ask for help. A lot are dealing with parenting struggles, anxiety disorders or past traumas.
My Background and Approach
I am particularly passionate about working with individuals experiencing trauma and anxiety disorders. I am trained in several different trauma treatments, including EMDR. We often work on body based traumas, including birth trauma, sexual abuse or medical trauma. I also have advanced training in perinatal mental health and work often with mothers around issues in pregnancy and parenting.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work often with issues that impact women and come from a feminist and pro-choice perspective. I will support any choice that you need to make around your body and your reproductive decisions.
