It is my goal to help my clients experience "good grief" and to be able to experience joy and find meaning and purpose as they move forward.
My Background and Approach
I use an attachment-based perspective to understand the context and impact of the loss, whether that loss is of a person, a role, a relationship, or anything that feels significant. Because each experience of loss is unique, I also pull from a variety of modalities such as internal family systems, narrative, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral approaches to address issues related not only to the primary loss but also the secondary losses that come with it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am inspired by the innate human capacity for connection, hope, and healing, especially while navigating grief, loss, and life transitions. In a society that prefers to tuck grief away, I strongly believe grief needs to be seen and heard and I am passionate about providing a safe space to do just that. I work with clients to understand their story and their grief.
