About My Clients
I work with older children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety (including perfectionism and high expectations), stress, burnout, life transitions, chronic health conditions, body image concerns, disordered eating, and recovery from emotionally harmful or narcissistic relationships. I also support members of the LGBTQIA+ community, with attention to the ways identity, safety, and belonging can shape emotional well-being.
My Background and Approach
My career began in medical settings, supporting patients with complex health conditions, but I discovered my passion lies in providing ongoing therapy and supporting clients through long-term growth and well-being. In therapy, I focus on building a strong, collaborative relationship and creating a safe, supportive space for growth and self-understanding. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, exposure-based therapy, and have a strong foundation in mindfulness meditation. I also specialize in exposure-based treatments, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, interoceptive exposure for panic, and progressive exposure strategies for phobias and social anxiety. Taking the first step to start therapy can feel incredibly vulnerable. If you’re curious about therapy or have questions about how it works, I encourage you to reach out. Even a brief conversation may help you feel more comfortable, explore your options, and decide whether therapy is the right fit for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am committed to social justice and to improving access to ethical, affirming mental health care. I believe individual well-being is deeply shaped by larger systems, and I strive to hold that context in my clinical work. I am especially focused on mental health system reform, including reducing barriers to care and expanding culturally responsive treatment. I also care deeply about the impact of broader systems on mental health, including healthcare, education, and the criminal justice system, where inequities can significantly affect well-being. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship, within context, and in environments that support dignity, safety, and equity. I aim to integrate these values into my work while recognizing that access to care remains uneven and shaped by systemic limitations.
