About My Clients
Many of my clients feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, and self-criticism. They replay conversations in their heads, worry constantly, or feel exhausted from carrying everything on their own. Others are navigating trauma, depression, or big life transitions and aren’t where they thought they’d be in life. My clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who want real change—not just someone to nod along. They’re ready to better understand themselves, calm their nervous system, and start
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth therapy for adults and adolescents in Connecticut and Florida. I’ve worked in the mental health field since 2014 and began providing counseling services in 2019. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I’m EMDR-trained and also use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and nervous system responses. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your life, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. At the same time, I’ll gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck and help you build practical tools so you can feel more grounded, clear, and confident moving forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is capable of change and healing. Much of how we move through the world comes from learned behaviors, patterns, and experiences that developed over time. Trauma—whether big or small—can shape how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us, often in ways we don’t fully realize. I believe people are not broken. Many of the coping strategies we develop once helped us survive difficult experiences. In therapy, we can begin to understand those patterns and decide what is still serving you and what may be keeping you stuck. I also believe everyone deserves a chance—at growth, at healing, and at building a life that feels more aligned with who they are. And I believe small things matter. Small shifts in perspective, small steps forward, and small acts of kindness can have a powerful impact over time.
