About My Clients
In working with clients I use a collaborative and integrative approach that I feel maximizes the benefits of counseling. This approach may include elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, family systems or solution-focused brief therapy. I enjoy helping clients reach their goals, feel better, and be happier and healthier in their daily lives. If ever there is something that does not work, I like to try and find a better approach that fits.
My Background and Approach
Whether you have been dealing with an issue for years or if it is something that has recently surfaced, counseling can be beneficial in addressing the problem. Counseling provides a non-judgmental environment with encouragement to explore the source of the presenting problem and work towards a greater well-being. I enjoy working with adolescent teens through middle-aged individuals and couples on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, self-esteem, mood disorders, and coping skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Clients can expect to find empowerment within themselves to find solutions and learn contentment through acceptance. My beliefs are that everyone can learn, grow, and change to become the best versions of themselves to improve their own lives. I think of myself as a guide and I am there to help on your journey.
