About My Clients
Do you notice yourself "knowing what to do" to feel better, yet you struggle to follow through? Have you been feeling unseen or burnt out from always putting others first? You may know why you do these things (people pleasing, procrastinating, putting yourself last) but still find it hard to change. Maybe you’ve even tried therapy before and left feeling misunderstood, like the deeper layers of your story weren’t really addressed. If this resonates with you, you've come to the right place
My Background and Approach
I regularly engage in research, training, and peer consultation to ensure I am practicing to the best of my ability with the most up to date knowledge as it relates to ADHD/trauma. I have completed EMDRIA approved basic training and plan to pursue ongoing training in EMDR. I am currently training to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and an ADHD Certified Clinical Service Provider. I have a masters of social work from University of Central Florida (2018) and have completed extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
There is no place for judgment in my work. All are welcome and everyone has the capability to grow. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and enjoy working with issues unique to this population. I am committed to continued education/training in issues impacting BIPOC populations. I am also sex/body positive, kink aware, and experienced in working with unique/polyamorous relationship dynamics.
