About My Clients
Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, anxious, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. They often appear capable on the outside but feel exhausted internally. Past experiences may still show up through triggers, overthinking, or relationship struggles. My clients are generally ready to better understand themselves, process what they’ve been carrying, feel more in control of their emotions, and move forward in a way that feels more grounded in the present.
My Background and Approach
My approach is to provide a safe space to collaboratively explore what's difficult right now and how to move forward. I’m a licensed therapist working with adults navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and substance use. Often, the common thread underneath is unresolved trauma- experiences that continue to shape how you think, feel, and respond, even if they happened years ago. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process traumatic or stressful experiences, without diving into the specific details, allowing the nervous system to settle and old patterns to shift. I integrate EMDR with other therapeutic approaches to support both practical coping skills and deeper healing. Together we work at a pace that feels safe while helping your brain and body process what’s been stuck so you can feel calmer, more present, and more like you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people deserve a safe place to explore what feels difficult without shame or pressure. Many of the struggles people face make sense when we understand the experiences behind them. In therapy, we work together to understand what may no longer be serving you and support the growth and change you want in your life.
