About My Clients
I encourage those I work with to tune into their natural abilities to heal painful experiences, to explore overlooked possibilities, and to create the inspired life they desire. If you're struggling with life transitions, grief, professional/educational goals, relationships, LGBTQ2SIA concerns, systemic oppression, spiritual crisis, childhood neglect or abuse, mood disorders, or trauma from any of the above, please reach out.
My Background and Approach
I believe that the counseling relationship will allow you to more fully understand how life's challenges have led you to this moment, and uplift that wisdom to be an active creator in the unfoldment of your desired life's path. Through the therapeutic temenos (sacred space), you will discover your unique and healing relationship with yourself, your community, and your world, and intuitively reconnect with your authentic, inspired self. Using creative and holistic approaches, I encourage those I work with to tune into their natural abilities to heal from mental and emotional wounds, oppressive systemic injustices, and traumatic experiences, to explore overlooked possibilities, and to create the inspired life they desire. Through a liberation-focused framework, I utilize Internal Family Systems, hypnotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness, creative modalities, and spiritual coaching when holding healing space.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a cisgender, white, able-bodied woman, I am committed to raising my own consciousness around these identities, my privilege in this world because of those identities, and how they impact the therapeutic relationship. From a heart centered and Soul led place, I will meet you where you're at and allow you the space to explore and process life's challenges. As my contribution to the raising of collective consciousness, I aim to create healing spaces for traumas and burdens that span generations and even lifetimes, with a belief that the work we do now benefits the generations that came before us and those yet to come. I find my own deepest healing in nature, travel, and in connecting authentically with loved ones and four-legged friends. I consider myself a Seeker in understanding the great mystery and interconnectedness of all things.
