About My Clients
Do you feel like you're constantly surviving instead of living? Maybe your mind never slows down, or you find yourself wondering, "Why can't I just do the things everyone else seems to do so easily?" Perhaps you're carrying the weight of a traumatic experience, grieving someone you've lost, or feeling like you've lost yourself along the way. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, uncover the "why" behind what's keeping you stuck, and find strategies that truly fit your life.
My Background and Approach
Have you ever left therapy thinking, "That was nice to talk about, but now what?" Or maybe you've learned coping skills before but found yourself unable to use them when you needed them most. It can be frustrating to know what you're "supposed" to do but still feel stuck. I believe lasting change comes from understanding the why behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—not just managing the symptoms. Together, we'll gently peel back the layers to get to the root of what's keeping you stuck so the tools we use actually make sense and work for your life. You are the expert on yourself. My role is to provide a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where we can find an approach that fits your unique needs. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy using evidence-based approaches, including DBT, I-CBT, CBT, EMDR, and IFS.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, cultural humility, and the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I value creating an affirming, inclusive space for people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. I am a strong supporter of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and am committed to creating a space that is affirming, welcoming, and free from judgment. I believe in the importance of listening to and learning from diverse lived experiences and recognize that cultural identity, race, gender, and sexuality can shape how individuals experience the world and navigate mental health. Both personally and professionally, I am passionate about mental health advocacy, supporting neurodivergent individuals, and helping people break generational patterns that no longer serve them. My own life experiences have shaped my belief in meeting people with curiosity rather than judgmen
