About My Clients
I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and women who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure where they fit. Many of my clients are thoughtful, introspective, and carrying a lot — navigating life transitions, identity, relationships, caregiving roles, or food-related anxiety. They may not have clear answers, but they’re curious about understanding themselves more fully and finding a way forward that feels supportive and authentic.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed graduate professional counselor (LGPC) and registered drama therapist (RDT) with experience across community mental health, schools, and private practice. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and relational. I integrate expressive and creative methods, narrative therapy, CBT-informed tools, and somatic awareness, always adapting the work to the person in front of me. Therapy may involve conversation, creativity, reflection, or skill-building, depending on what’s most helpful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is not about fixing what’s broken — because people aren’t broken. Often, challenges make sense when we understand the context in which they developed. Therapy is about creating the right conditions for growth, clarity, and change. I bring both clinical training and lived experience as a mother and food allergy parent to my work, offering care that is compassionate, grounded, and realistic.
