About My Clients

My main focuses throughout my academic career have been in non-human animal behavior, religious trauma, sex and kink, substance use disorder, Bisexual+ issues, and human trafficking. I am also interested in how Autism and ADHD relate to histamine disorders and other chronic illnesses. I work frequently with those in the Bisexual+ community who navigate their lives inside and outside of the queer community. I am very interested in working with individuals recovering from religious trauma.

My Background and Approach

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology at The University of West Georgia. I am now obtaining my Master of Social Work at The University of Georgia with a focus on substance use disorders. I am a student intern under the supervision of Ariyanna White, LCSW at Roll for Wellness. Between undergraduate and graduate school, I volunteered with Wellspring Living as a peer support group leader for arts and crafts. The population I worked with there was youth survivors of domestic and sexual abuse (often sex trafficked youth/gang surviving youth). My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am radical in my values, and I advocate in many communities. I am an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community, the Autism and ADHD community, and an advocate for BIPOC individuals and the systemic barriers they face daily and generationally. I participate frequently in queer and BIPOC activism within Atlanta and outside of the perimeter. I support those on their own unique deconstruction journeys, whether that be through religious or political aspects. Living in the Deep South can be hard, and I am here to witness your exploration and journey, even if it is not perfectly packaged. I do not believe there to be a "perfect" victim or survivor. We are all resisting heavy structures that push against us daily.
