About My Clients
I enjoy working with both couples and individuals on many different issues. I work within the LGBTQIA+ community and I specifically enjoy work with marginalized sexual desires/arousals such as Kink/BDSM. Other interests include trauma, coming out, sexual/gender identity questioning, erectile dysfunction, female sexuality, and body dysmorphia.
My Background and Approach
I implement systemic theory focusing not only on the individual but the relational and intersectional influences of each client. I focus on meeting the client where they're at and building upon the strengths each person has within them. I like to provide a space for clients to feel heard and will utilize many philosophical and theoretical frameworks for each clients' needs as they work on their self-journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people in this world promote the "norm" or "status quo" to points in which we deny our own personal experiences. My work is to ultimately help people create change in their lives in which they want to create, but importantly help individuals and couples find acceptance within their lives that may not meet "societal standards" of what it is to be a person in this world.
