About My Clients
I work with individuals navigating the many emotional challenges that can arise throughout the reproductive journey, including fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, and the identity shifts that often accompany parenthood and reproductive decision-making. Many of my clients seek help for relationship issues, self-esteem, coping with change, or feeling overwhelmed.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in perinatal and reproductive mental health. I earned my MSW in 2013 and hold a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). I have specialized training in Perinatal Interpersonal Psychotherapy and completed a postgraduate course in fertility counseling. I work with individuals navigating the many emotional challenges that can arise throughout the reproductive journey, including fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, and the identity shifts that often accompany parenthood and reproductive decision-making. My approach is collaborative and grounded in empathy. I’m influenced by narrative therapy, and I support clients in exploring the meaning of their experiences, reconnecting with their values, and finding their voice in the midst of uncertainty. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for the stories my clients carry. Therapy with me is a space to be seen, heard, and supported.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker, I value authenticity, compassion, and social justice. I am passionate about supporting birthing people and families through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. My work is grounded in perinatal mental health and reproductive justice, with a commitment to advocating for inclusive and equitable access to care. I am also deeply invested in addressing substance use and addiction, with particular attention to the ways alcohol is glamorized in “wine mom” culture and how this narrative can obscure real struggles. I aim to create a therapeutic space that is affirming, collaborative, and respectful of each client’s lived experience. I also recognize that individual struggles are shaped by broader systems of inequality and stigma, and I bring this awareness into my practice. My goal is to reduce stigma, support meaningful change, and honor the resilience of each person I work with.
