About My Clients
I’ve worked with individuals navigating sexual concerns and changes in desire. Sometimes stress, life demands, or major transitions can shift interest in sex. For many people, especially after having a baby, life can feel so full and exhausting that intimacy just gets pushed to the side. These changes can feel frustrating and confusing, and you don’t have to figure them out alone.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s from Loyola University Chicago, along with specialized sex therapy training through the Institute for Relational Intimacy and couples training from the Chicago Center for Family Health. In my work, I focus on helping people understand what happens in the body and brain when fear and anxiety take over, and how to gently find your way back to a calmer place. I believe you already have a good sense of who you are and what you want out of life, and I bring clinical psychology expertise. Together, we’ll work in a collaborative, down-to-earth way to help you move toward what feels most important to you. In our work together, we focus on what’s happening right now and what you need in the moment. I’ll help you build simple, practical tools you can actually use in everyday life when anxiety shows up. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people can grow, change, and find more ease at any stage of life. Many emotional struggles come from patterns we’ve learned over time—and with support, those patterns can shift into something healthier and more helpful. My work is also informed by my own experience in therapy, where I learned to move old fears and learned to feel more comfortable being myself. That’s a big part of what I hope for my clients—to feel more grounded, safe, and at home in who they are. I welcome and support people from all backgrounds and experiences. I’ve volunteered in restorative justice work, as well as helped out in my local community through school events and neighborhood fundraisers. I value being part of spaces that foster connection, care, and inclusion.
