About My Clients
Many of the clients I work with are high-achieving, thoughtful, and deeply self-aware, yet feel disconnected from themselves, others, or a sense of ease. Some struggle with disordered eating, chronic stress, burnout, or a persistent feeling that rest, softness, or vulnerability are unsafe. Using an RO-DBT-informed lens, therapy focuses on building psychological flexibility, embodied awareness, and connection—while gently challenging the belief that control is the path to safety.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, relational therapy that emphasizes openness, flexibility, and embodied awareness. I primarily draw from Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and somatic approaches to support clients in loosening patterns of overcontrol, avoidance, and self-protection that no longer serve them. Therapy is collaborative and thoughtfully paced, attending to both nervous system regulation and the beliefs that link control with safety. I work with adolescents and adults who are insightful, high-achieving, and often hard on themselves, helping them cultivate connection, spontaneity, and a more compassionate relationship with their inner experience. My goal is to create a space where curiosity, courage, and meaningful change can emerge.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value therapy that is collaborative, paced, and grounded in respect. I believe meaningful change grows through curiosity, flexibility, and connection—not pressure or perfection.
