Maybe you're anxious, hypervigilant, or numb - replaying conversations, bracing for conflict, or feeling disconnected even when you're trying. Old trauma shows up in your relationships: you shut down, overexplain, or can't trust your own instincts. You're exhausted from managing everyone else's emotions while ignoring your own. You want to feel safe in your body, speak up without spiraling, and build relationships where you don't have to perform or protect.
My Background and Approach
I help you understand why you react the way you do - and change it. Using IFS, EMDR, and attachment work, we target the root: the nervous system patterns and childhood wounds driving your anxiety, avoidance, or relational struggles. You'll learn to regulate your emotions, challenge old narratives, and respond instead of react.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, affirming therapy, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance. Throughout my career, I've worked with underserved populations: providing therapy at the YWCA to individuals from diverse ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds; coordinating mental health care for high-risk youth in the juvenile justice and foster systems; and treating eating disorders at Sunol Hills. These experiences shaped my approach. I've seen how systems fail people, and I'm committed to creating a space where you're not just another case. You're a whole person with a story that matters. I'm also passionate about training the next generation of therapists. As an adjunct professor, I taught future MFTs the importance of cultural humility, seeing the whole person, and creating environments where healing is possible.
