Mee-Hyea’s therapeutic approach integrates a psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approach which is tailored to each person’s unique needs. Her goal is to collaborate with you to create a therapeutic relationship that provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment which allows for exploration of all emotional experiences, thoughts and feelings. She will listen to your story, help you navigate through past traumas and experiences, get to the root of symptoms and guide you through the process of breaking free from destructive and repetitive patterns. Mee-Hyea believes that by overcoming unhealthy defense mechanisms, teaching mindfulness techniques, healthy coping skills, building increased insight and awareness into these patterns leads to emotional growth, emotional wellbeing and mental resilience.
