About My Clients
I welcome individuals navigating relationship challenges, cultural identity and belonging, caregiving, and life transitions. You may be adapting to a new environment, processing the emotional impact of illness, or balancing caring for others with attending to your own needs. Perhaps you are facing uncertainty or simply seeking space to better understand yourself. Together, we can explore your experiences, values, and hopes at a pace that feels right for you.
My Background and Approach
My path toward becoming a therapist has been shaped by both professional and personal experiences. Before entering the mental health field, I spent many years in marketing and consulting in India and New York, working with people from diverse backgrounds. Those experiences sparked a lasting curiosity about how people navigate their lives, build relationships, and find strength through challenges. Born and raised in India, I moved to New York to study and now live in Thousand Oaks with my husband. As an immigrant, I appreciate the complexity of adapting to new surroundings while staying connected to your roots. Supporting and learning from my nephew on the autism spectrum has deepened the meaning of family and caregiving in my life. As a breast cancer survivor, I also bring a personal appreciation for the uncertainty and unexpected changes that illness can bring. Faith and spiritual practice have been sources of support for me, and I respect the beliefs of all my clients.
