About My Clients
I have experience in helping clients with family conflicts, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, caregiver issues and stress, self-harm, and anger management. I also specialize in working with clients diagnosed with Postpartum Depression, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disabilities.
My Background and Approach
I primarily utilize Trauma-Informed, Strengths Based, and Solution Focused treatment methods in my practice.I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. You can expect to leave each session with clearly defined, achievable goals to work towards until the next session. We will work together to make sure that each goal has consistent daily implementations and are focused on helping you heal from the past, cope with the present, and be the best version of yourself for the future. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change, and you've already taken that first step just by being on this page! I believe my biggest strength is my lived experience, which has led me to become a professional in the mental health field and has fostered my desire to help others. I am able to provide clients with empathy, compassion, and understanding in a therapeutic setting and provide them the tools and support they need to thrive.
