About My Clients
Life can be challenging and can have its ups and downs, which is why it is important to have someone who can help you navigate through those times. I work with adolescents, teens and adults who are going through difficulties in life that they feel they just cannot handle on their own. Whether it is experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, or grief, it can help to have someone help you work through those challenges to help you overcome them.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in a variety of settings that have allowed me to work with various populations. In pursuing my master's degrees in both School Psychology and in Marriage and Family Therapy, and in working in the field since finishing school, I was able to work in school settings, agencies, private practices, group practices, and in local hospitals. Throughout all of these experiences, I have learned that the best approach to therapy is one that is lead by the client. That is why I always cater my counseling approach to each individual client, whether that is using cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, or short-term therapy. I am here to help you in whatever way will work best for you. I know that each individual has their own sets of needs or concerns, which is why I change my therapeutic approach based on the needs of that person. I am here to make the therapeutic experience as pleasant and successful as possible and look forward to helping you in your journey.
