About My Clients
I work best with adults and teens who feel deeply, value reflection, and want a steadier connection to themselves. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, identity questions, or big life shifts. You may feel stuck between versions of yourself or like you're carrying too much alone. I offer a relational, nonjudgmental space to explore those experiences at a pace that honors your nervous system.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and the founder of Falena Mental Health, a virtual private practice serving clients across Washington. I’ve spent over a decade supporting teens and adults in schools, community health, and advocacy settings—especially those navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, and identity exploration. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in somatic tools, motivational interviewing, and attachment theory. Therapy with me is collaborative and steady—we work at a pace that supports your nervous system, builds self-trust, and helps you feel more grounded in yourself and your relationships. Whether you're navigating big life changes or working through longstanding patterns, my goal is to help you feel less alone and more connected to your inner capacity for healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be accessible, affirming, and rooted in justice. I’m committed to creating a space where clients of all identities feel seen and supported. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, body-liberation aligned, and trauma-informed. I approach therapy with cultural humility and recognize how systemic oppression and marginalization impact mental health. Outside the therapy room, I advocate for youth mental health access and have worked extensively in community-based and school settings. I value reflection, relational accountability, and showing up with authenticity and care.
