Depression can make everyday exhausting. The days seem to drag on, and you feel invisible in your work and relationships. You’re restless, yet can’t quite seem to find the motivation to engage in the activities you most enjoy. I can help you overcome depression, anxiety, and trauma. I understand just how big of a positive change this could be in your life. I’ll support you through every step of cultivating the inner strength necessary for handling life’s turns and transitions.
My Background and Approach
Often when we experience trauma, we become disconnected from ourselves, resulting in depression and anxiety. The first step is to identify the emotions causing you discomfort. Eventually, you’ll witness your emotions as useful visitors that come and go. The next step is learning to courageously explore difficult experiences like boredom, anxiety, uncertainty, confusion, despair and even past trauma. By the end, you’ll have the strength to learn from yourself so you can tackle life’s daily challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I enjoy getting to travel alongside people as they befriend new parts of themselves, making their way toward healing and authenticity. There’s no greater privilege than creating space for people to feel seen and heard while they tackle the issues most important to them. I help people with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I also help couples and families looking to strengthen and maintain their relationships during significant life events and transitions. I provide LGBTQ + affirming therapy.
