My Background and Approach

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC) with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Counseling Children and Adolescents. I’m passionate about supporting individuals, teens, adolescents, and couples through life’s challenges, using a strength-based, systems theory approach to guide healing and growth. My experience working at a non-profit with individuals with developmental disabilities has deepened my understanding of the importance of social support networks and personal agency in fostering meaningful change. I also specialize in play therapy, helping children express their feelings and build resilience. For couples, I focus on improving communication and strengthening connections through solution-focused techniques. I offer telehealth services to make therapy more convenient and accessible. I’m here to walk alongside you on your path to healing, growth, and lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a deep commitment to serving others, shaped by three years of experience at a non-profit supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role taught me the importance of social support, personal agency, and community resources in fostering positive change. I carry this understanding into my therapy practice, where I focus on inclusivity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique journey. I am passionate about creating a safe, empowering space for all clients, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. I also offer telehealth for greater accessibility. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they build resilience and confidently move forward in their journey toward healing and growth.
