About My Clients
I specialize in working with kids and teens facing OCD, anxiety, and related concerns—and I believe parents are essential partners in the process. I love helping families feel empowered, not confused, by their child’s treatment. In our work together, parents gain the tools, language, and support they need to confidently respond to anxiety at home, while their child builds the skills to face hard things with courage.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor who’s passionate about helping kids, teens, and young adults learn to live well with OCD, anxiety, and related concerns. My work is rooted in evidence-based approaches like CBT and ERP, with a strong emphasis on parent involvement. I believe therapy should be both practical and personal—anchored in clear strategies and deep compassion. I received specialized training in evidence-based treatment from leading clinicians at a nationally recognized program for OCD and anxiety in Tampa, FL, and have extensive experience working with high-acuity youth in PHP and IOP settings. I aim to create a supportive, structured space where families can make meaningful progress toward their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of work, you’ll find me running around the garden with my two pups, Ruth and Murphy, spinning vintage records while cooking with loved ones, experimenting with film photography, or planning my next travels. I’m passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health and believe that compassionate, accessible care can be life-changing. I care deeply about empowering parents, building community, and offering practical, evidence-based support that truly meets families where they are.
