About My Clients

When finding a new therapist, I often advise friends to simply go with their gut. Do you get a good vibe from your therapist? If so, that's a green flag. My clients tend to be highly intelligent and capable individuals who have already begun a journey of self-discovery-- either through therapy, spiritual / psychedelic practice, or self-study. They often have core wounds holding them back from cultivating the meaning and joy they are deeply seeking in their lives. If that's you, let's connect!

My Background and Approach

As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to support my client's somatic, spiritual, and cognitive healing. In my view, this requires both exploring personal narratives and placing them within the context of systems of oppression. As a social worker, I'm committed to an understanding of individuals as intrinsically connected to their social and cultural environments. As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of approaches and work with the client to determine the most appropriate course for them. Modalities I pull from include depth and feminist psychology as well as somatic therapy. I have completed training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Gottman method. I also incorporate breathwork and mindfulness into sessions with many of my clients. My clinical interests include psychedelics, sex therapy, and the decolonization of wellness and spirituality. I am currently finishing my MSW at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My practice is informed by both modern psychology and a personal commitment to meditative and compassion practice. I believe my role as a therapist is to cultivate a container of trust that allows the client to access their innate inner wisdom. This orientation also means I am committed to practicing in a way that is identity affirming and culturally appropriate. When not in session, you can catch me hiking with my Aussie, reading up on abolitionist and embodied approaches to therapy, and brewing herbal tea.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
