About My Clients
I see clients who are experiencing difficulty adjusting to changes in their life or who are choosing to heal from painful narratives birthed out of grief, trauma, stress, or unhappiness. I commonly work with women who have had traumatic birth stories, veterans, or individuals with negative beliefs about themselves due to childhood trauma.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is to assist you in doing the difficult work of uncovering your true, fully-alive self, amidst this present pain. I typically work out of a Narrative Therapy lens. I often will integrate EMDR, embodiment practices, Person-Centered Therapy, or attachment-based approaches into treatment. Coping with the reality of our story can be difficult when it is not as we originally wished it to be. Together we can make meaning of your story and find the strength that lies within it.
