About My Clients
I work with adults who feel stuck—whether due to trauma, anxiety, burnout, chronic illness, or a major life change. Many of my clients are navigating intense emotions, panic, sleep issues, grief, or identity and role transitions that have disrupted their sense of stability. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ and disabled clients, and those who want to explore the impact of culture, power, and past experiences while reconnecting with what truly matters to them.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed psychologist experienced at supporting adults facing trauma, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm. My early career focused on treating trauma in complex, marginalized populations, which deepened my commitment to justice-oriented, culturally responsive care. I offer individual teletherapy and specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, OCD, PTSD, identity shifts, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based therapies like ACT, DBT, CBT, and exposure-based treatments, and I value open, authentic connection. Clients describe me as warm, straightforward, and thoughtful. I believe therapy should be a safe, flexible space where you can explore challenges, reconnect with your values, and build a life that feels meaningful—especially in the face of pain, uncertainty, or change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I fundamentally believe that people cannot be broken, but they can get stuck in patterns, dynamics, and beliefs that don’t serve their goals and values. I'm justice-oriented and is attentive to experiences related to identity, power, privilege, and culture. I especially enjoys working with clients who are members of the LGBTQ+ and/or disability communities.
