About My Clients
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, sleep concerns, and other mood-related challenges. I also help people whose depression has not improved enough with previous treatment. My goal is to understand how symptoms affect your daily life, review what you have already tried, and work with you on practical next steps that may include medication management or interventional options when appropriate.
My Background and Approach
I am an interventional psychiatrist and earned my MD from McGovern Medical School after completing undergraduate studies in biology at The University of Texas at Austin. I completed psychiatry residency at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where I served as Academic and Administrative Chief Resident and helped develop and expand a Spravato® treatment program. I am also certified in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation through the Academy of Brain Stimulation. At Premier Psychiatry, I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and care for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. When clinically appropriate, I can also discuss options such as TMS and Spravato®. I focus on listening carefully, explaining options clearly, and building an evidence-based treatment plan around your symptoms, history, goals, and response to prior care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe psychiatric care works best when patients feel heard, respected, and involved in decisions about their treatment. I value clear communication, compassionate care, and evidence-based medicine. My goal is to create a professional, nonjudgmental setting where you can speak openly about your concerns, understand the options available to you, and make informed decisions about your mental health care.
