About My Clients
I have worked with people of all ages in challenging settings including shelters, detention centers, and hospitals. Many people struggle daily with depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress daily, which can have negative effects on mental and physical health. You are not alone. I look forward to working together to face your challenges and help you achieve the goals you envision for yourself.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling involves working together in a supportive and non-judgemental environment utilizing CBT to help you process your thoughts, meet your goals, and develop the skills you need to take control and be content with your life. I use different approaches to figure out what is best for you. Therapy can be helpful to gain new perspectives and insight to your thoughts and behaviors. We aren't often taught healthy ways to cope with life's challenges, and I can provide a safe space to work through trauma, relationships, anxiety, negative thinking patterns, and other obstacles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has a right to share how they feel and have their feelings validated. A therapist should be someone you feel comfortable with honestly sharing what goes on in your mind. Life can be difficult sometimes, and we are all on this journey together.
