About My Clients
My clients are otherwise successful adults who find themselves in a relationship with a narcissist. They are receptive to therapeutic support and take a serious interest in understanding themselves. If you have a history of relationship patterns that you wish to change and you are ready to look deeper at the underlying issues that keep the pattern going, I encourage you to honor that part of yourself that still has hope.
My Background and Approach
My training in marriage and family therapy, trauma, narcissism, and abuse, allows me to offer my clients the best possible treatment options. Every relationship has its struggles, but in a relationship with a narcissist , it can feel like everything is a struggle and you can do nothing right. These relationships require a specific approach as they can be very damaging, costly, and even dangerous. To cope, maybe you disconnected from the relationship or even from yourself. High-conflict people are getting their needs met from you, but you're left feeling exhausted and powerless. My approach involves a combination of “connection” and “calming” practices designed to shift your nervous system out of a state of chronic stress, so that you can focus and move forward. Being attuned to yourself is key to disarming the narcissist, and a central focus of my treatment approach. You can learn to trust again, and feel deeply understood and connected. You are worth it!
