About My Clients

I work with individuals navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and difficult life experiences. Many of my clients are survivors of childhood abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, or unhealthy relationships who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I enjoy working with queer and trans clients and strive to create an affirming, inclusive space where people feel respected, understood, and supported.

My Background and Approach

I am a trauma-informed therapist with extensive experience supporting survivors of childhood abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and unhealthy relationships. I am trained in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and also draw from CBT, mindfulness, somatic, and attachment-based approaches. My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I believe each person is the expert on their own life, and I work alongside clients to create a safe space for growth, insight, and healing. Together, we process difficult experiences, build practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and develop tools for managing emotions, navigating challenges, and creating meaningful change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My values strongly influence the way I approach therapy. I believe healing happens in relationships and that therapy works best as a collaborative process, not one where the therapist is the expert on your life. I value curiosity, compassion, empowerment, community, and creating spaces where people can show up authentically and feel respected. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and committed to providing affirming care. I also care deeply about disability rights, reproductive justice, racial justice, immigrant rights, and efforts to address interpersonal and systemic violence. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in advocacy supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. These experiences continue to inform my commitment to anti-oppressive, trauma-informed care and to understanding how social systems can impact mental health and well-being. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and believe that healing and growth are poss
