About My Clients
Have you been feeling unheard, unseen, criticized and/or marginalized in your relationships? Do you lack a safe space to express your thoughts or feelings? Do you long for that nonjudgmental space where you are just accepted for who you are rather than being rejected and expected to be something else? Let's work together to give yourself a safe space to express your thoughts and feelings to navigate this chapter of your life and heal from trauma in your relationships and previous generations.
My Background and Approach
My work has primarily focused on clients who have felt criticized and shamed and/or have "unfinished business" in their relationships. Completing Advanced/Level-2 Training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) through the Southern California Institute of EFT has focused my work on these core themes, which often present themselves as contributors to challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, stress, and self-esteem. Most notably, I have found that my approaches and backgrounds are good fits for young adults and couples who identify as part of a minority population(s), such as AAPI, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and/or those who have lacked emotional safety in their relationships. As each client is unique, I approach therapy with curiosity and am guided by each client's needs, processing styles, and readiness. I aim to meet each client where they are at, then choose an approach that would best address their needs.
