Since 2010, I have worked full time with men on a variety of issues to include: relationship and family dynamics, career and employment challenges, sexuality and intimacy, identity and role conformity, and emotional and cognitive difficulties associated with men's issues.

Since 2010, I have worked full time with men on a variety of issues to include: sexuality and intimacy, consent and permission, relationship and intimacy dynamics, past abuse and distortions associated with unhealthy sexuality, and the identification and promotion of health sexuality and sexual relationships.

Since 2010, I have worked full time with men on a variety of issues to include: co-morbid, co-occurring mental health issue identification and treatment. I have seen clients on an individual and group basis to assist and support their mental health needs. I have run the offense specific mental illness (OSMI) group modality to help individuals with a variety of significant mental heal conditions, to include pervasive personality disorders, and more.

We all carry and hold distorted core belief systems, this is a matter of perception and the influence of our environment. These irrational thoughts can be managed, mitigated, and in most cases turned toward our advantage. I believe that I can be instrumental in supporting clients in the identification, understanding, and countering of these unhealthy thoughts through the use of effective rational counters. I have had years of experience utilizing CBT as an effective tool, it works.

At the core of my belief system and therapeutic style is the understanding that the client's needs are paramount. I strive to assist clients in formulating and implementing solutions that align with the client's goals and value systems. My role is to aid, support, and guide client in the discovery of their success. I whole heartedly try to embrace the core concepts of empathy, positive regard, and genuine interaction.

Sometimes we just need help in addressing a complication in our lives. As a therapist of many years, I have noticed that some clients have a tendency to get stuck when confronted with a challenge, often because they struggle to identify the core issues influencing the difficulty. My use of solution focus therapy to listen compassionately, select the relevant details, and be assistive in building a solution that resonates with the client seems to align with success.
