About My Clients
I am dedicated to collective engagement, the inner healer, sex positivity, the Black LGBTQIA+ community, and liberation. I intuitively draw on my gifts and knowledge during sessions to co-create a healing-centered space. I've used these skills with youth in juvenile detention, systems-involved families, survivors of violence, and those with substance abuse addiction.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed mental health counselor from Brooklyn, NY. She received her Bachelor’s in psychology from Georgia Southern University and Master’s in forensic mental health counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Max believes that trauma is not an isolated experience, but is felt by the community. I am an eclectic, healing-focused therapist. I don't follow a singularly therapeutic modality. Instead, I choose which tools in toolkit will most benefit clients.
