My Background and Approach
Max Arzola, LCSW-S, has used his Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College to treat diverse patients in the Houston area. He has done everything, from facilitating group counseling for adolescents to treating newly diagnosed patients with HIV. He has also provided direct care to his patients and clients while pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas; from community-based homeless recovery services in Austin, Texas, to treating inpatients with acute psychosis as a graduate student. Max has recognized the need and importance of purposeful treatment, which validates patients' experiences, makes contact, and establishes empathy with their specific situations.
