About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and adults who struggle with anxiety, trauma, sensory sensitivities, ADHD, and emotional regulation. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or disconnected from themselves or others. I also support parents seeking nervous system-based interventions for their children. My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and grounded in neuroscience to help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with a doctorate in clinical social work and over 18 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families. My background includes extensive work in schools and private practice, with a focus on trauma, nervous system regulation, and neurodivergent care. My approach is grounded in polyvagal theory, attachment, and somatic principles. I offer the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) as a core service, helping clients shift out of chronic stress responses and into a state of safety, connection, and resilience. I believe healing happens when the nervous system feels safe, so I create a supportive, compassionate space where clients can gently explore their inner world and build lasting regulation skills. I tailor my work to each individual’s needs, blending neuroscience with practical tools to help clients feel calm, capable, and connected.
