My Background and Approach
As a faith based DBT certified therapist my approach is to provide skills to reduce symptoms of trauma, depression and anxiety. I understand therapy happens outside of therapy, DBT allows you to connect with me when you may need it the most. Deal with those negative emotions that you have been carrying around for too long. Work in a holistic setting that understands you are a complex beautiful individual who has suffered enough.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My perspective as a therapist is to equip my clients with the skills of mindfulness, living in the minute; emotional regulation calm those "big emotions"; Distress tolerance- no more acting impulsively; interpersonal effectiveness will bring that calm to your home.
