About My Clients
I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, family conflict, and school or work pressures. You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unlike yourself. I offer a supportive, judgment-free space to talk openly, better understand yourself and your patterns, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful changes. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
My Background and Approach
I bring more than 25 years of clinical experience to my work with teens, adults, couples, and families. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and Owner/Clinical Director of Coral Cove Counseling, I have extensive experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflict, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is warm, practical, and individualized because therapy should never feel scripted or one-size-fits-all. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship creates the foundation for meaningful change, so my goal is to provide a space where you feel genuinely heard and comfortable being yourself. Together, we can identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen coping and communication skills, and develop practical strategies you can use outside the therapy room. Therapy isn't about having all the answers—it's about helping you find the ones that work for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where people can show up exactly as they are and feel respected, heard, and valued. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and life experiences, and I strive to create an environment that is inclusive, compassionate, and free of judgment. I value authenticity, kindness, humor, personal responsibility, and genuine human connection. I believe people are far more than a diagnosis or a difficult chapter in their lives, and I approach each client as an individual rather than a collection of symptoms. As the Owner and Clinical Director of Coral Cove Counseling, I have also made mentoring the next generation of counselors an important part of my work. I supervise Residents in Counseling as they develop their clinical skills and work toward independent licensure. Above all, I believe good therapy should feel human: a real conversation with someone who listens, cares, challenges you when appropriate, and respects who you are.
