About My Clients
I have worked with members of various communities, including the LGBTQIA, Poly, artists, entrepreneurs and tech employees since 1998 in San Francisco and New York, most recently. I have also been trained in Psychedelic Psychotherapy and offer Ketamine Assisted Therapy. I have a background in the arts, bodywork, Reiki and energy healing. I have worked primarily with people struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders and Relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
I use a combination of psychodynamic, Mindfulness, CBT, Meditation and Visualization techniques and tools depending on what my clients are open to. I have a background in the arts and feel very open to folx who feel they sometimes "don't quite fit in" on a regular basis. In the therapy room, my greatest goal is to provide a non-judgmental approach while incorporating warmth and humor (when appropriate.)
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have been a meditator for 18 years and believe in its benefits. I also know that meditation is not for everyone and will help you find what works for you as the unique individual you are. I also feel passionate about making therapy and services as inclusive as possible. In the past, for several years, I offered a free, drop in support group for the Trans community and persons who identified as non-binary.
